The game is an Action-Adventure game. The aim is to clear the level without dieing.
Story[]
Batman is stopping a gang war between Scarface and the Ventriloquist and Black Mask in the streets of Gotham City. Meanwhile, Commissioner Gordon was kidnapped and held hostage at Arkham Asylum. Undetected, Batman gets into the Asylum, only to face many of his foes, but then encounters the Joker, who held Gordon hostage. Batman then finds it was orchestrated by Ra's al Ghul to distract him from his plan to take over the world, causing him to go to the Himalayas to stop him. Batman then disables a Signalling device before fighting Ra's. After defeating Ra's, the world is safe.
