Back in action! And the way forward!

It is no secret that VideoPedia has been really inactive despite its promising start. It is also no secret that many of the articles are (of no ill intention) really poorly written, and poorly categorised.

From this day onward, we will begin fixing up the wiki to a presentable standard. The plan is as follows:

  • Creating a manual of style for Games, Consoles, Genres and Events
  • Adding all current articles on a to-do-list
  • Look at implementing gameplay or trophy/achievement guides within the wiki
  • Changing up the 'Cadbury' theme slightly, and getting a new logo

More ideas are also open.

(WIKI NEWS) Update on Main Page and CSS Fixes

There hasnt been any news on Wiki Updates in a while, as most efforts have been on adding articles. However, recently the Wiki Main Page has been changed, and the CSS has been edited. A full list of changes can be found here.

The things that haven't changed, but may appear to in the picture is the background colour (We are keeping that nice Cadbury/Thorntons looking theme) and the location of the Contribution Help Box. These appear o be different solely due to the presence and location of Advertisements. What are your thoughts on the updates?

In my previous post, we looked at strangely placed Pokéstops and Gyms, ranging from places like Area 51, to Bosnian Minefields, to Holocaust Memorials and the Korean Demilitarized Zone. Today, we look at slightly stranger ones that made me thing "why..."

Yes, you read this correctly, there is a stop at a location named Invisible Playground. The description of the Pokéstop says Rumor is the playground disappeared in a flash. The image simply displays a slightly wooded area with a sign.

Unfortunately for sane people, this isnt fake. With the description Army retired it, a small artillery gun fixed onto a stone plate in a field has been given this bizarre name.

A statue of Jesus on a Cross, named as Cross Guy with the description of Statue on the So…
